happy 1st 4th.

We arrived at the NICU yesterday to find that the Wee-Care Committee had given Pepper and the other little girls red, white and blue, 4th of July tutu's.  How long would it take us to try it out?  Not long at all.

 day 40 - 07.03: she wanted sparklers for this shot but we told her she had to lose the oxygen first.  hospital policy.

 day 40 - 07.03: Pepper's primary nurse, Lauren, posing with the firecracker. All of the NICU nurses have been outstanding, but Pepper's primary, Lauren, and two associates, Lee and Paula, have just been phenomenal.  Thank you guys.

    Holy Cow! There is cheering going on in the Steen household. That little girl rocks with her big open eyes and her hip tutu! We love you to the moon and back Pepper girl.
