how heavy is a milestone? we don't know, but they're huge.

And a stat update...

Pepper has weighed in at 2lbs 7oz, her flow (the pressure through the nasal canula) is at 3.0 which is really good (she started at 5 with the Big Rig seen in earlier posts), she's at 21% oxygen which is the same as room air and she's getting 7.5 cc's of breastmilk per hour which is a total of 6.1 fluid ounces a day.  She's bound to pack on the pounds eventually, right?  Last week was a big one as she: hit 4 weeks old on Wed., June 22th; one month old on Sat., June 25th; 30 weeks, gestational age, on Mon., June 27th; and 1,000g on Mon., June 27th.  And we're cheering on every single milestone.

Enough with the wordy word words... here are some pics.

day 33 - 06.26: bright lights are not appreciated.

day 33 - 06.26:  this is what happens when mom and dad forget to bring my clean clothes back.  something borrowed, something big...

day 33 - 06.26: you know how good a stretch feels?  Pepper has figured out that the most comfortable positions are just pauses in a stretch.

day 34 - 06.27: wide awake after bath time.

day 35 - 06.28: the first smile caught on camera.

 day 35 - 06.28: and the second.
